1. How are trading signals for a trading strategy delivered?
There are two forms of signal delivery; intraday signals are delivered if price targets or stops are hit – but these are unofficial triggers and do not form part of the monitored strategy exits. After the close a second email is sent outlining new trigger entries and any confirmed exits at either stop or target price based on the closing price. It is closing price triggers which are monitored and published to the trading strategy portfolio.
1. How are trading signals for a trading system delivered?
Entry signals are delivered by email at the end-of-day. Target, stops and trailing target and stops are delivered intraday by email as the prices are hit.
2. Can I connect trade signals to my brokerage account?
We don’t currently support auto-trading but this is something for consideration in the future.
3. How do I contact a trading strategy publisher?
In your Subscriber widget you get view the summary signals, portfolio and contact the trading strategy Publisher.
4. Can I subscribe to a strategy on a month-to-month basis?
Initial low-cost strategies have fixed pay-periods of 6 months, as Publishers become more established (and profitable) the option to charge more becomes available and this may lead to the introduction of shorter subscription terms. All newly created strategies have an initial free sign-up period.
5. How is revenue shared?
For Publishers of trading systems we will split subscriber revenue 50:50 with them. As part of our Beta all subscriptions and strategy publishing is free. Once the pay-for subscription model is introducerd then the revenue share kicks in
6. Can subscribers be trading system publishers, or vice-versa?
Yes – there is no pre-requisite required for creating your own trading strategies. Publishers are also free to subscribe to strategies published by other Zignals members.
7. How is the cost of the subscription set?
All Publishers starting out are limited by the amount they can charge per month for a trading system. As the number of subscribers grows for a Publisher the subscription rate a Publisher can charge increases.

Any Subscriber seeing a change in their subscription charge to a strategy will be notified by email and will be asked to verify the new charge (or have the option to unsubscribe).
8. How are trading strategies paid for?
We will be using Paypal to handle all processing for subscription payments and making payments to publishers.
9. When are payments made to Publishers?
While in Beta there is no income earned or charged on published strategies or strategies members subscribe to. Once out of Beta, publishers will be paid on a month-to-month basis after a minimum $25 is reached. Earnings which are below $25 for a month are rolled into the next month. Payments will be made via Paypal.
10. How are payments made to Publishers?
Payments are made to the email address on record from registration.
11. How are taxes on my income handled?
Individual trading system publishers should seek tax advice based on their country of residence. It’s the responsibility of publishers to ensure the correct income taxes are paid.
12. What time zone is used on trade alert signals?
Delivery settings are set at the user time zone. This can be configured in Alerts delivery.
13. Can you recommend a trading system?
Our powerful Advanced Search option will allow potential subscribers source the perfect trading strategy to suit their personalised needs – far better than any personal recommendation we could give!
14. Do trading strategies account for dividends?
At this stage of our Beta strategy portfolios are not credited with dividend payments.
